Based on the recent data collected for the month of April, the housing market is still showing no signs of decreasing, it is still increasing and going stronger than ever. The demand for single family homes keeps on increasing, bringing the average home price to $524,868 in the GTA according to TREB reports that were released on Tuesday. Price increases were mostly influenced by the sale of single-detached, semi-detached, and townhomes throughout the city. Given this data, every month this year has been an increase compared to last year, meaning we should expect the increase to continue until we see a steady pattern. The remainder of 2014 is looking hopeful in terms of increases for homes in the GTA.
